Matt Keller - Compliance Specialist

Matt Keller joined National Compliance Consultants, Inc. (“NCCI”) in July 2015. Matt began his career in the Financial Service Industry in April 2008 as a Compliance Officer and Operations Specialist for both an Independent Broker/Dealer and its sister firm, a Registered Investment Advisor. With his management and coaching skills, he played an integral role in helping grow and develop both firms from a shared pool of three home office employees to 12 and from 30 financial advisors to over 150. During that time, he was able to witness and participate in all aspects of the operations of both firms, gaining significant experience interacting with the SEC, FINRA, and state securities regulatory agencies. He has a solid working knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules, securities sales practices and registration requirements. He holds the Series 7, 24, 66, 79, and 99 securities licenses and is insurance licensed for Accident & Health, Life and Life Variable Contracts. Prior to working in the financial services industry, most of Matt’s career path was based in operations and management roles, involving retail, information technology/production, and hospitality sectors.

Matt and his family live in Joplin, MO, where he enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the great outdoors, where they all share their love for nature by spending time gardening, bike riding, jogging (not running), hiking, camping, kayaking or simply just hanging out and having fun. Although he can’t sing or play an instrument well, he likes all genres of music and especially enjoys attending live concert events. Matt also likes to travel, going to new places, meeting new people and experiencing new things, especially new cuisine. He is the Co-Owner of two local companies, one that deals in real estate ventures and the other provides services for families in their process of child adoptions. Matt also donates his time and energy to the local Humane Society, and helps multiple not-for-profit organizations that transport animals out of high-kill shelters through a series of networks all over the United States and places them in foster homes until they are adopted.

Matt attended Missouri Southern State University where he studied Business and Biology. During his time at MSSU, he became a proud member of Sigma Nu, where he held multiple officer positions, including Commander (President) of the organization. He is also a member of The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
